2012 Presidents Editorial

 Dear Friends, members of the AMFORHT

 Merci Serhat, Ismet and Emete,

 Thanks Girne American University,

 Gracias North Cyprus.

 We are happy and proud of our last Forum and   General Assembly that our Cypriot Members organized from 10 to 13 November 2011.

The context was difficult, but, all together, we succeeded in this challenge.

I would like to express my most sincere gratitude for the success of the organization of this World Forum, on behalf of the Board and the attendees, to the GAU Students, the Team, the Executives, the national Politicians and all the Partners who welcomed us so friendly, warmly and professionally in Girne.

102 participants and friends from 23 countries attended this Forum. The Prime Minister, Irsen küçük, the three Ministers of Finance, Tourism and Social Affairs honored us by participating. These results show the rank of our Organization in the world.

This Forum was important for the future of our Organization. Major decisions have been made. We are now in a position to confidently develop our organization in the world. We have been given the means : our shared values, a new road map, a new organizational chart, a new tariff policy of our fees, and   in particular the creation of a position of a salaried General Delegate.

AMFORHT now and soon will become the greatest World Organization according to its new mission, to our new policy and to our values in life :

- to be the main international interface between education, professionals and institutions on the topic of education, employment and people development in tourism, in the framework of the highest values of peace between countries, of brotherhood between people and of ethics in our relationships,

- to be the worldwide organization that’s facilitates the on-going development of human resources in the tourism sector and strengthens the best employment and transferable opportunities in this industry,

- to be the worldwide business network between the three partner groupings : AMFORHT is not only a social network, it’s more nowadays a framework where we create friendly business between the members.

This policy has been validated one more time in Girne. The whole Board and members attending the Forum have confirmed their strong motivation to deliver this strategy. We all understand that this action must be exemplary for future generations. Our future is clear, with the goodwill of all.

The success of this Forum has indeed provided all AMFORHT attendants with new inspiration, a new energy and a real strong desire to accelerate the growth of our Amforht for the benefit of the tourism of tomorrow in general and for the benefit of the Man in Tourism in particular.
