Hello to each and every one of you all!

On this beginning of 2013, we are pleased to confirm that this will be a consolidation year for our Organization. We will continue, with our combined energies, to strengthen our network towards "business" between members.

We consolidate our development on a solid foundation, due to the success of our last forums. The most recent, last November in Paris, took a new shape: it was organized in partnership with "EQUIP'HOTEL" and "FERRANDI - The French School of Culinary Arts". Our annual meeting has been more alive with a session of speed dating that allowed you, based on extensive feedback we received, to generate contacts, to build common projects, to create new projects between members, etc.  A success to be renewed!

Among the major decisions taken at the general assembly, there is the election of new members within our Board. Thus, a new impetus is given, and responsibilities are distributed.

Program this year we will have several key actions- in particular:

* We will strengthen our overall efficiency by increasing the number of members, thus generating a stronger dynamic and stimulating the creation of projects growing among members. We will be helped by the trust we have earned- or sometimes renewed- from prestigious international personalities.

* We will continue the policy initiated last year on partnerships. These links with associations and / or professional organizations allow AMFORHT to work on a common basis with well-known partners, to put people at the heart of our industry and stimulate new projects. We are currently developing such partnerships with the CDRE (Directors Club Catering and Operations), the AGGH (General Housekeepers Association of Hotels), the ANEPHOT (French National Association of Private Schools Hotel and Tourism)and the RNF (Network World Standardization and Francophonie). We, of course, will continue the work already initiated with WTEA (World Tourism Experts Association) and EQUIP'HOTEL following partnerships signed this year.

* To strengthen the new dynamic and continue to bring the energy required for the daily running of our Association, the position of our general delegate has been extended and increased in time. Martine FERRY is now working ¾ time at your service.

With your active support, your cooperation and your proposed actions, we will continue our momentum by making AMFORHT the international network of schools and universities, professional institutions and personalities from tourism, the most professional, dynamic, humanistic and, above all, the most efficient in 2013.

Hurrah for AMFORHT and its Members! We wish an excellent year to each and every one of you.
